Hey Beauties! :D

False lashes have been on the market for ages, but more recently, magnetic lashes have become popular. So I tried a two brands of magnetic lashes to see if they are really worth the hype. Keep reading to find out what I thought.

One word: Disappointing... :(

You know when you are just so excited to try something because you believe it's going to make your life easier and then it doesn't work. Well, that's what happened. They aren't worth your money and here are some of the reasons why:
  • They take so long to apply, longer than false lashes.
  • They are more expensive compared to your normal glue-on lashes.
  • It's really hard to get the lashes close to your lash line. Especially if you don't like the feeling of something underneath your lashes.
  • Some of the magnetic lashes I tried were very straight (they didn't have that nice curve that false lashes generally have).

The concept is really good, but they just aren't practical. They took ages to apply and they just looked really silly when I finally got them to work. Plus they are so much more expensive compared to your typical lashes. Even though they would last longer, I still wouldn't buy them.

So I guess I won't be buying anymore magnetic lashes. My advice to you is too stick to your classic glue on lashes and just practise, practise and practise some more. If you have had any success with magnetic lashes, leave a comment below!
